KickHD

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Kick HD does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any user data. It makes no network requests of any kind.

What the extension stores

Kick HD saves exactly two settings, using Chrome's own chrome.storage.sync API:

  1. Whether the extension is enabled or disabled.
  2. The optional quality ceiling you select — maximum, 1080p, 720p, or 480p.

These two values stay in your own browser profile. If you have Chrome Sync turned on, Chrome may sync them across your own devices. That is handled entirely by Chrome; the developer of Kick HD has no access to it.

What the extension does not do

No personally identifiable information
No health, financial, or payment data
No passwords or authentication data
No personal communications
No location data
No browsing history
No clicks, keystrokes, or activity tracking
No website content collected or stored

There are no servers, no analytics, and no third-party services involved. No data is sold or transferred to anyone, because none is held.

Site access

Kick HD runs only on https://kick.com/*. It needs access to that page in order to open the video player's own quality menu and select the highest available option. It does not read page content, account details, or cookies.
